“The carers are wonderful, they keep me company and look after me well”
Jack is 18 years old, and is living with the after effects of a stroke which he suffered two years ago.
His Mother requested care in this new predicament, and Sunshine Care were engaged through Social Services for hourly care services.
Jack receives care from a team of carers who visit him every day to help with cooking, cleaning and other domestic duties. Because he is paralysed in his leg from the stroke after effects it is difficult for Jack to walk and therefore he wears a leg brace and aided by a stick; naturally impeding his movements.
Because of the help that he receives, Jack is able to attend college for a skills course which he very much enjoys. Otherwise he is at home with his cat and enjoys working on his laptop; he considers himself spoiled with all the support he receives.
